Pearl's giggles fade into a muffled gasp as Garnet's lips brush her pulse point. Her hands, too, loosen from over her mouth, and for all of a second the whole of her feels quiet and still and soft.

And then Garnet pulls away, leaving Pearl blinking. "Wha," the half-formed questions falls limply from her tongue, and only when she sees the blush dyeing Garnet's cheeks does it occur to her to be embarrassed too, face warming to match.

Pearl waves her hands in front of her, as if to disperse Garnet's concerns. "N-no, that was-- that was fine." Her voice drops and her eyebrow draw together, coloring her smile with timidness. "... I liked it."
