Pearl blinks at the question, unsure herself as to why she can feel the heat in her cheeks rise. Garnet can be a little self-conscious about her parents sometimes -- has been that way ever since they were in elementary school. They're both warm, uninhibited in their affection and incredibly inquisitive, in a way Pearl has always coveted, while Garnet would usually shoo her down the hall to her room as quickly as possible.

This is nothing new.

"W-well, of course!" she answers with a bit of a laugh, higher in pitch than the last. "Your mothers are lovely people. I ought at the very least say hi."
